Pre-Christmas dinner at Monte's, Bangsar Shopping Complex.
It's yet another year ending for 2007 and when we celebrate Christmas, we all know we are getting a year older soon. On 23rd December, 2007, Poh Kee Lock & Margaret Khoo invited the Khoo Family and relatives, cousins, in-laws and friends to celebrate an early X'mas gathering since they shall be away for Christmas in Tokyo. All of us had a great time reminiscing our past and how we all have grown; the younger siblings have now become taller, older and wiser and prettier too. My brother, BH khoo and wife (left pic) are looking into healthy food nowadays as age is catching up fast, we have to watch our food intake especially fatty foods and lean meat.
Lim and Foo (Left) having a ball of a time drinking and eating. Wine was free flowing and so were the turkey which was deliciously cooked. The dinner was sumptuous and all had their stomach filled to the brim. Firstly, mushroom soup was served, followed by the Main Course; either can choose between Salmon, Cod Fish and or chicken meat, then turkey meat was served in black sauce. Pudding was next and thereafter, coffee, tea or Peppermint tea; Baileys drink was also on the house.
Mr Neil Foo has just published a book entitled "A Different Chinese" which was recently translated from the Mandarin version of the same book. It's about the different ethnic chinese - business and human behaviour of the Chinese people from 9 different countries. It is available in stores now! His nickname for the book is CQ (Fu Ce Qin) - more like Lao Fu Ce? - Take a peek....
On the left pic is my niece and nephew, Andrew Lee and Pei Jin who are both enjoying the environment and the good food being served here.
